CPR Classes
Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad (TVRS) is a certified American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) training center. ASHI certification is equivalent to programs by the American Heart Association (AHA) and Red Cross. TVRS offers several classes on a regular basis at Station 1 (1101 Horsepen Road) that are open to the public and healthcare providers:
CPR-AED for the Community and Workplace
- Covers infant, child, and adult CPR and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) usage for the layperson
- Classes held on the second Sunday of every odd month (January, March, May, July, September, November)

- $25 per person

CPR for the Professional Rescuer
- Designed for the healthcare/EMS professional
- Classes held on the second Sunday of every even month (February, April, June, August, October, December)

- Full class: 10 AM - 6 PM, recertification only: 2 PM - 6 PM
- $30 per person
- Book and certification card provided
CPR & First Aid
- Available to groups of 5 or more, upon request
- Covers infant, child, and adult CPR, plus basic first aid
- Classes conducted at Tuckahoe Station 1, or at a location you provide
