Who is a TVRS Member?

The Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad (TVRS) is an integral part of Henrico County’s 9-1-1 emergency response system.  Working closely with the Henrico Fire Department, TVRS responds to 9-1-1 calls for emergency medical services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

TVRS members come from various backgrounds. We are students, nurses, business owners, executives, attorneys, law enforcement officers, educators, retired citizens, etc. We all answer the call to serve the community that gives us so much and in the process, we build new family bonds that come with serving our community together.

TVRS is an all-volunteer, member-run, non-profit agency.  We rely 100% on volunteers to provide the emergency medical services our community requires.
