Donate
Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad is a non-profit organization and accepts donations from all citizens and corporations in Henrico County. Donations are tax-deductible and provide funding for equipment, training, and medical supplies.
Our Services Are Free of Charge
Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad is able to provide emergency medical services free of charge thanks to the community’s generous donations and the fact that all of our members are unpaid volunteers.
… But The Equipment We Need Isn’t!
A new ambulance costs approximately $150,000 — a figure that doesn’t include medical equipment and supplies! EMS has evolved rapidly in the past few decades, and so has the technology. Heart monitors and defibrillators, AutoPulse® CPR aids, miscellaneous medical supplies, radios, vehicle maintenance, and fuel are just a few examples.
