EMT Course
Now accepting applications for the 2027 EMT Course!
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course prepares individuals to provide emergency medical services to the sick and injured. EMTs possess skills and knowledge to address life threatening emergencies and serve as a vital link between emergency services and the healthcare system.
January 12–April 24, 2027
- Course held at Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad’s (TVRS) Horsepen Station (1101 Horsepen Road, Henrico, VA)
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30–10:00 PM
- Some Saturdays from 8:30 AM–4:00 PM (more details on application)
- Tuition: $500 (includes textbook, online digital content, initial testing fees and EMT supplies—stethoscope, BP, etc.)
- Deadline for submission is November 6, 2026
